Welcome to Velkom. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.
1. Definitions
"Company" refers to Velkom, its website, and its related services.
"Client" refers to any individual or entity using the services provided by the Company.
"Services" include visa application assistance, licensing support, consultation, document preparation, and other services provided by the Company.
"Agreement" refers to the contract formed between the Company and the Client, upon acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. Scope of Services
Velkom offers the following services:
Visa and Licensing Assistance: Guidance and support through the entire application process for obtaining a nursing license and visa for work in Norway.
Consultation Services: Individual consultations regarding professional opportunities and licensing procedures.
Document Preparation: Assistance with compiling, reviewing, and submitting necessary documentation.
Our role is to assist with the application process; however, the final decision on applications is made by the relevant Norwegian authorities. We do not guarantee approval of any visa or license application.
3. Client Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
Provide Accurate Information: You must submit accurate and complete personal information and documents necessary for visa or licensing applications. Any misrepresentation may result in delays or denial of applications.
Follow Instructions: Adhere to all requests for additional documentation, fees, or interviews as required by Norwegian authorities.
Timely Communication: Ensure that you maintain regular communication with the Company to avoid delays in the application process.
4. Payment Terms
Our services require payment as outlined below:
Quick Consult Service: For non-applicants, a "Quick Consult" consultation fee of 1 500 NOK applies. Full payment is required in advance. Clients must purchase the service prior to the consultation session. An invoice will be issued upon request or as part of the booking process. Sessions will only be confirmed once payment is received.
Standard Service: 50% of the total service fee is due upon selecting the service. This covers consultation, document preparation, and submission of visa and licensing applications. The remaining 50% is payable upon the visa approval. If the visa is denied, only 25% of the second payment is due. Quick Consult service is included in this service which is non-refundable. If the Client decides to proceed with the Standard Service, the Quick Consult fee will be deducted from the total service fee.
Standard Priority Service: 75% of the total fee is payable upon selecting the service, which guarantees priority in processing your application. The remaining 25% is due upon visa approval. If denied, only 10% is required. Quick Consult service is included in this service which is non-refundable. If the Client decides to proceed with the Standard Service, the Quick Consult fee will be deducted from the total service fee.
Clients opting for Standard or Standard Priority services will receive an invoice before the next steps of the process. This invoice must be paid before scheduling any consultations or proceeding with document assistance. Failure to make payment may delay or cancel services.
The total service fee for our Standard and Standard Priority services is 30 000 NOK.
Other Fees:
License and visa application fees and other necessary fees are to be paid by the applicant and are not included in the service fee.
Administrative Fee (Only for Standard & Standard Priority Services)
To cover initial processing and administrative costs, an administrative fee will apply to both Standard and Standard Priority service agreements. This fee is non-refundable, even in cases of early withdrawal.
1. Administrative Fee Amount
Standard Service: NOK 2,000 (non-refundable)
Standard Priority Service: NOK 3,000 (non-refundable)
2. Purpose of the Administrative Fee
This fee covers:
Initial consultation & case assessment
Document review & preliminary processing
Access to informational resources & guidance
5. Late Penalty Clause
An invoice will be issued immediately after the consultation session.
Payment must be made within 14 calendar days from the invoice date.
Late Payment Fees
Payments overdue by 14 days → For Quick Consult: the service will be considered canceled. For Standard/Standard Priority: NOK 500 late fee applies
Payments overdue by 21 days → For Standard/Standard Priority: Additional NOK 1000 late fee applies.
Payments overdue by 30 days → Velkom reserves the right to pursue legal collection actions and report non-payment.
Consequences of Non-Payment
If payment is not received within 30 days, Velkom reserves the right to:
Take legal action to recover the outstanding amount.
Refuse future services to the client.
Report the non-payment, if necessary.
Payment Methods & Responsibility
Payment must be made via Bank Transfer.
Any transaction fees incurred through third-party payment processors are the responsibility of the client.
5. Refund Policy
For Quick Consult:
The Quick Consult service is non-refundable once payment has been made and the consultation is scheduled. If the Client needs to reschedule, he/she must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up for a confirmed session or canceling without proper notice will result in forfeiture of the paid fee.
In cases where Velkom must cancel the session due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
For Standard/Standard Priority:
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
The client voluntarily withdraws from the licensing and visa process before services have begun.
The client is deemed ineligible for Norwegian licensing due to undisclosed factors (e.g., incomplete education, missing credentials).
Velkom is unable to fulfill its obligations as per the contract.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds will be issued under the following conditions:
The client has already received consultation and support related to document preparation or application submission.
The client fails to provide required documents within the agreed timeframe, leading to contract termination.
The client fails to make payments as per the agreed schedule.
Licensing or visa applications are denied by Norwegian authorities due to reasons outside Velkom’s control.
3. Refund Structure (If Applicable)
Before Services Begin:
Standard Clients: 100% refund (excluding any non-refundable administrative fees).
Standard Priority Clients: 75% refund (excluding any non-refundable administrative fees).
After Initial Consultation & Document Preparation:
Standard Clients: 50% refund (excluding any non-refundable administrative fees).
Standard Priority Clients: 30% refund (excluding any non-refundable administrative fees).
After Submission of Licensing or Visa Application: No refund, as services have already been rendered.
4. Refund Processing
Refund requests must be made in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days to the original payment method.
6. Use of Personal Data
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your data for the purpose of visa and licensing applications.
We use your data only for the purposes necessary to provide our services, and it will be shared with third-party institutions (e.g., Norwegian authorities) when required.
7. No Guarantee of Results
While we strive to provide the best possible assistance, the outcome of visa and licensing applications is outside our control. Approval of applications depends on Norwegian authorities, and we do not guarantee a successful result.
8. Limitation of Liability
Velkom will not be liable for:
Any decision made by Norwegian immigration or licensing authorities regarding visa or licensing applications.
Delays in processing caused by incorrect or incomplete documents provided by the Client.
Indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or time, arising from the use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim, whether based in contract, tort, or other legal grounds, will be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the relevant service.
9. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified via email about any changes where applicable. By continuing to use our services after changes have been made, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Oslo, Norway.
11. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate our services if:
The Client fails to comply with these terms and conditions.
The Client provides fraudulent or misleading information.
The Client engages in abusive or unethical behavior towards our staff.
Upon termination, no refunds will be issued for services already rendered.
